Before start Features This unit is a multi player for professional DJs, offering the variety of functions, durability, and operability required for working not only in discos and nightclubs but also at large-scale music festivals and other events. Full-fledged DJ performances can be made using tracks not only on USB devices and computers but also on mobile devices (smart- phones, etc.). It is not only equipped with a wide range of features for DJ performances, including the PRO DJ LINK, BROWSE, and WAVE func- tions, it also has a high sound quality, high reliability design and panel layout providing high operability, thereby offering strong support for all types of DJ performances. SD & USB Export rekordbox music files and management data can be exchanged using an SD memory card or a USB device. This eliminates the need to take the computer to discos or clubs. At home or in a studio rekordbox ! Add music files to collections and analyze them. ! Make the preparations on rekordbox. rekordbox MULTI MEDIA, MULTI FORMAT Music files stored on SD memory cards, USB devices (flash memory devices or hard disks), mobile devices, computers, and discs (CDs or DVDs) can be played. The supported music file formats are MP3, AAC, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, Apple Lossless, and music CD (CD-DA). The rekordbox music management software can be used to carefully prepare the playl- ists, cues, loops, beat grids, etc. you will need for a DJ performance at home. This ensures you are free to devote all your attention to the DJ performance at the disco or club on the day of the performance. In these operating instructions, the version of rekordbox for Mac/ Windows is referred to as “rekordbox (Mac/Windows)”. “rekordbox” is used to indicate the versions of rekordbox (Mac/Windows) and rekordbox (iOS/Android) simultaneously, as well as when referring to rekordbox functions directly. rekordbox (iOS/Android) rekordbox (iOS/Android), a smartphone application that can be down- loaded free of charge, can be used for the management (analysis, set- tings, creation, history storage) of music files on mobile devices. Using music files managed with rekordbox (iOS/Android) in combination with this unit makes it possible to achieve outstanding DJ performances. ! In this manual, the mobile device edition of rekordbox is referred to as “rekordbox (iOS/Android)”. PRO DJ LINK Two types of PRO DJ LINK functions are provided: “SD & USB Export” using SD memory cards and USB devices (flash memory drives and hard discs) and “rekordbox LINK Export” using a computer on which rekord- box is installed.
