If the battery leaks or emits a strange smell, immediately move it away from any fire. DANGER If liquid has leaked from the built-in rechargeable battery, do not touch the liquid with your bare hands. Liquid may remain inside the main unit, so please contact our inquiry desk. If the liquid gets into the eyes, it could cause loss of vision, so immediately wash the eyes with sufficient clean water, such as tap water, without rubbing your eyes, and immediately obtain medical treatment from a doctor. If the liquid adheres to the body or clothing, it could cause burns or injury, so immediately wash it off with clean water, and if the skin shows symptoms of inflammation or injury, consult with a doctor. WARNING • If charging is not complete even though the prescribed charging time has been exceeded, stop the charging. This could cause a fire, burns, or injuries due to overcharging, etc. • If an abnormality such as any of the following occurs, immediately turn off the power switch of the product, and disconnect the power plug from the power outlet. —— If smoke is emitted, or if a strange smell or sound occurs —— If water or foreign matter penetrates into the product —— If the product is dropped, or if the cover is damaged If used in this state, it could cause a fire or electric shock. Check that there is no smoke being emitted, and request repair from your dealer. It is dangerous for customers to carry out repairs, so do not carry out repairs by yourself under any circumstances. • Do not use the supplied power cable or AC adapter with anything except this product. The supplied power cable and AC adapter are parts for exclusive use with this product only. If used with other electrical products, it could cause a fire due to heat generation or electric shock. CAUTION • When using this product for the first time, be sure to charge it for one hour or more before turning on the power. • To avoid low-temperature burns, do not remain in prolonged contact with the bottom surface. Do not use this product in prolonged direct contact with the skin, such as on your lap. There is a possibility of occurrence of low-temperature burns due to heating of the bottom surface of the product. PRECAUTIONS REGARDING SAFETY WHEN CHARGING Be sure to comply with the following cautionary items in order to avoid major injury or loss of vision due to liquid leakage, explosion, heat generation, or fire. • This product has a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery. • If the USB plug or the power supply plug are inserted while wet, a short circuit could occur due to the liquid (tap water, seawater, soft drinks, etc.) or foreign matter adhering to the main unit or the charging cable, which could cause abnormal overheating or a malfunction. Do not under any circumstances insert the USB plug or the power supply plug while the main unit or the charging cable are wet. OTHER PRECAUTIONS • In places where the surrounding temperature is extremely high, stop charging for safety. Also, charging may stop, even if charging is continued for a long time. Charge once again in the recommended charging temperature range after pulling out and reinserting the power adapter. • The temperature of this product may increase during charging or when used for a long period of time, but this is not a malfunction. • If the product is not used for a long time, charge the battery until the battery level is around 50% once every six months to prevent degradation of the built-in rechargeable battery. • If the time that the product can be used becomes very short, there is a possibility that the service life of the built-in rechargeable battery has expired. • If you have any other questions or problems, read this document carefully once more, then contact our inquiry desk.
