Refer to "4.2 OPERATION CHECK WITH rekordbox". 3 Check pairing with your smartphone via Bluetooth. 4 Check connection with a PC /Mac via USB C. Pair with rekordbox mobile and make sure it is recognized correctly. It must be recognized correctly by rekordbox for Windows /Mac . DIAGNOSIS 4.1 CONNECTION CHECK OF EACH INTERFACE C USB port g USB port (for device connection) Connect the USB port of this unit to the PC/Mac , and check that communication is normal. 1 Use the included USB cable (C to C) to connect this unit and your PC /Mac . 2 Open [Device Manager] on your PC /Mac . 3 If the display is the same as the red frame below, USB C signal line is working properly. 5 6 7 8 4.2 OPERATION CHECK WITH rekordbox Procedure for confirming basic operation by rekordbox for Mac/Windows is as below. A For details, refer to Instructions Manual. rekordbox for Mac/Windows g Installing rekordbox for Mac/Windows Installing (Mac) 1 Unzip the downloaded rekordbox for Mac/Windows software file. 2 Double-click the unzipped software file to launch the installer. 3 Read the terms of the License Agreement carefully and if you agree to them, click [Agree]. 4 When the screen for completing the installation appears, click [Close] to end the installation. Installing (Windows) 1 Unzip the downloaded rekordbox for Mac/Windows software file. 2 Double-click the unzipped software file to launch the installer. 3 Read the terms of the License Agreement carefully and if you agree to them, select [Agree], then click [Next]. 4 Click [Finish] to complete the installation. g Starting rekordbox for Mac/Windows For Mac In Finder, open the [Applications] folder, then double-click the [rekordbox 7] > [rekordbox.app] icon. For Windows 11 In the [Start] menu, open the [All apps] screen, then click the [rekordbox 7] icon under [rekordbox]. For Windows 10 In the [Start] menu, click the [rekordbox 7] icon under [rekordbox]. g Adding music files into your Collection 1 Click [Collection]. A list of tracks in your [Collection] is displayed. 2 Open Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) and drag and drop music files, or folders containing music files, into the track list. Music files are added into the [Collection] and analysis B for the music files begins. Wait until analysis of all music files is complete. g Loading an audio track onto a deck Select a track in your [Collection] and drag and drop it into the information panel of the deck. g Playing a track C 1 Set the positions of the knobs, etc. as follows: • [EQ [HI/MID/LOW]] knobs: center position (12 o’clock) • [CFX] knob: center position • [Channel fader]: bottom position • [ (master level)] knob: turned fully counterclockwise • [Crossfader]: center position 2 Press the [ f (play/pause)] button to play the track.
