English Obtaining the rekordbox software 1 Launch a web browser on your PC/Mac and visit the rekordbox website below. rekordbox.com 2 Click [Download] in the [Download] menu on the rekordbox website. The rekordbox download page is displayed. 3 Click the download banner. Downloading of rekordbox starts. Installing (Mac) Don’t connect the unit to your Mac using the USB cable until the installation is complete. ! Close all programs on your Mac. 1 Unzip the downloaded rekordbox software file. 2 Double-click the unzipped software file and start the installer. 3 Read the terms of the License Agreement carefully, then click [Agree] to continue. Follow the instructions on the screen. ! If you don’t agree to the contents of the License Agreement, click [Disagree] to cancel the installation. 4 When the screen for completing the installation appears, click [Close] to end the installation. Installing (Windows) Don’t connect the unit to your PC using the USB cable until the installation is complete. ! Log into your PC as administrator before starting the installation. ! Close all programs on your PC. 1 Unzip the downloaded rekordbox software file. 2 Double-click the unzipped software file and start the installer. 3 Read the terms of the License Agreement carefully and if you agree, select [Agree] , then click [Next] . After specifying the destination, the installation will start. ! If you don’t agree to the contents of the license agreement, click [Cancel] to cancel the installation. 4 When the screen for completing the installation appears, click [Finish] to end the installation. rekordbox (iOS/Android) You can play tracks managed on rekordbox on this unit by connecting a mobile device running rekordbox (iOS/Android) with this unit using a USB cable. Driver software Audio driver software This dedicated driver software is required for the unit to output sound from your PC/Mac. USB connection (LINK Export) driver software for rekordbox (Mac/Windows) This dedicated driver software is required for connecting the unit to rekordbox (Mac/Windows) via USB (LINK Export). Supported media The unit can play music files stored on USB mass storage devices (external hard disks, portable flash memory devices, etc.). Depending on the USB device, you may not achieve the expected performance. ! Operation isn’t guaranteed on all USB devices.
